We can provide a rapid computer health check service for your PC in our workshop.
It's becoming increasingly important to make sure that our PCs are regularly health checked. The irretrievable loss of work and data of sentimental value like family photos, emails etc. which is stored on PCs because we haven't taken the right precautions, can be at minimum be a headache, or for businesses a real nightmare!
Our specialist technicians will service a customer's PC to make sure it's secure, virus free and in tip-top condition for the long-term, regardless of whether or not it was purchased from us. They'll also make upgrade recommendations to boost the PC's performance, preventing you from having to splash out on a new PC or laptop.
We operate a 50-point checklist, however, these are the major items we check / service: -
•    Performance optimisation
•    Full and detailed virus scan
•    Hard drive Scan-disk
•    Hard drive de-fragmentation
•    Windows registry error check
•    BIOS and Windows start-up checks
•    Installed application checks•    Check for sufficient ram and hard drive space
•    Anti-virus software installed and up to date
•    Make recommendation for upgrades as requiredThis service can be provided to you onsite or at our workshop. A standard computer health check is 1 hour fixed duration and is charged at £39.99 per PC. Should addition time be required for detailed remedial actions to rectify an identified fault, then this will be quoted by the engineer and charged at our standard rate subject to your approval.
Please note: a PC health check is intended for preventative maintenance actions, as such it is not necessarily the correct approach for a specific fault.
